The Irritrol 2400 Series globe and 2600 Series angle valves are popular with users because of the convenience of their threaded bonnets, the reliability of their double-beaded diaphragm and the durability of their heavy-duty, corrosion and UV-resistant PVC construction. Q: is this2400 valve and solenoid good with a 9 volt irritrol dc junior system

A: Hi Ken,

I've looked into this Irritrol 2400T Globe Valve, it requires "Electrical requirements are 18 volts AC minimum at the solenoid". You can read furthere her: cdn2.toro.com/en/-/media/Files/Irritrol/products/valves/2400-2600-series/manual_2400-2600.ashx
I don't believe the 9 Volt Irritrol DC Junior System will work with this NPT Globe Valve.
