WhisperCeiling® DC™ Precision Spot Ventilation Fan with built-in Pick-A-Flow™ speed selector switch allows you to select your required airflow (110-130-150 CFM). Features a DC Motor with SmartFlow® technology and a Flex-Z Fast installation bracket. Can be used to comply with the latest codes and standards.

Articulating and expandable installation bracket up to 24"
Built-in damper reduces back drafting and helps with blower door testing
Integrated 6" duct adapter
Removable with permanently lubricated plugin motor
Motor equipped with thermal–cutoff fuse
Fan shall be UL and cUL listed for tub/shower enclosure when GFCI protected

capable and quiet fan

This is a very quiet fan if it's airflow is not restricted. The two lowest speeds are especially quiet. But if it needs to push, the fan will work harder to keep the airflow quite constant. Then it does get a bit louder. It is my favourite fan for it's quiet performance and ability to keep constant airflow.

Q: My bathroom measures 7.5 by 13.5 feet with a sloped ceiling that averages 9.5 feet in height. Is the Panasonic fv1115VQ1 sufficient with a max of 150 cfm. A lot of steam is generated by hot showers

Good question. Given the size of your bathroom is approximately 962 cubic feet, 150CFM should be enough for the room.

Q: Does this fan come with an adapter to retrofit an existing smaller duct size? If not is there an adapter kit or recommend another model?

A: Any change in duct size will need to be accomplished with a duct reducer. I recommend you avoid increasers, as they result in greater static friction loss.

Q: Does this require a 110 or 240 circuit. I’m guessing it has a built in transformer as the motor is dc. Is that correct?
